Gabe’s journey in the industry started with REO Fannie Mae contractors in the early 90s. In 2006, despite the financial crisis, West Coast Designs was established and quickly grew, forging relationships with asset managers and top brokers nationwide. This made West Coast one of the leading Property Preservation contractors in the Los Angeles area.
West Coast Designs is known for its dedication to exceptional quality craftsmanship and personalized service. With over 30 years of experience, Gabe Martinez has tailored his business to specialize in residential and commercial building and remodeling, including room additions, ADUs, ground-up builds, and custom kitchen and bathroom designs. Gabe ensures that even the smallest jobs are handled with the utmost care, protecting homeowners from unlicensed contractors and those with ill intent. His mission is to change the perception of contractors for the better.
In 2017, West Coast Designs expanded into the ATM and banking industry, offering turnkey ATM refresh and new installations. The company builds ATM rooms, ADA teller lines, and ramps for handicap access. Their services include concrete work, electrical, core drilling, ADA handrails, kiosks, canopy builds, safes, TCRs, and island installs. By working with the largest banks and credit unions, West Coast Designs has proven its capability to perform custom carpentry, providing the banking industry with the ability to match custom teller line millwork in historic buildings, preserving their value while meeting ADA requirements.
